We can not recommend Christina enough!
We are experienced dog owners and We rescued a 13 week old golden-doodle after losing our 12 year old dog. After working and struggling with him for a few months, we decided on the three week board and train with e collar training.
During the process, Christina was incredible and gave us very frequent updates and photos of Brios progress while he was in her home.
After the three weeks, we met with Christina to review training techniques that she had implemented as well as teaching us how to properly and effectively use the e collar with our pup.
To say that he is a different dog is an understatement. While he is still an energetic puppy, he is extremely responsive to our commands, wonderful off leash even with distractions like other people, children, and dogs, and he is just a joy to have around.
Two weeks after we picked Brio up, Christina came to our home for a follow up training check in session to see how he was doing. Additionally, she has continues to be extremely helpful and responsive to text messages as questions pop up.
To anyone thinking of hiring a professional, knowledgeable, and responsive dog trainer, Christina is your go to!

I can’t say enough positive things about Christina! She has helped me and my German Shepherd immensely. She is always clear, concise, and supportive. I’ve worked with other dog trainers in the past and Christina is tops!

I am so beyond proud of how our 9 year old rottie, Odin, has come along since starting training with Christina about 4-5 months ago. Odin had became super protective of us since we got him back in 2019. It was very difficult to bring him out in public without him causing a scene. He also did not do well at the vet. He needed to be sedated every visit, even if it was for something as simple as a shot. We decided since Odin was getting older, it was unfair to see him have to live such a limited lifestyle and wanted to take action to change it. Now, we are able to take Odin out for public walks (muzzled of course), and bring him to the vet without needing to be medicated. He has improved immensely over the course of these past months and we cannot thank Christina enough. It is such a relief and such a huge weight off our shoulders to see how far Odin has come, and to not have to stress about who or what we will have to avoid on our walks. Christina is hands down the best trainer, and is overall an awesome person. She definitely cares about her clients. I would recommend her to anyone looking for any type of training!!!

Christina was amazing to work with! Where we just saw a wall in front of us, she built us a tunnel to work through. She gave us insight and explanation and taught us so much! Run don’t walk to have her help you with your pup!

Christina has been with my pup and I since week 1. She has greatly expedited our training, giving us great benchmarks so we are always on track, and has been so wonderful with her abundance of advice and constant availability to answer questions. It has been so incredibly comforting knowing we have her as back up, she always has a solution and just knows dog behavior so well. And my puppy LOVES playing with her sweet dog Mazz. So so thankful to have her in our lives, highly recommend.

I first met Christina when a dog I was fostering through Sweet Paws Rescue needed a behavioral assessment. I was so impressed with her knowledge and professionalism that I made a point to take her business card. Fast forward three years when I find myself in need of training assistance with my very fearful one year old Great Pyrenees, Harry. I reached out to Christina for some training lessons. I love her approach of observing the dog and how we as owners handle his needs before formulating an individualized plan. From there she trains the humans to train the dog. This approach establishes a trust relationship between owner and dog that forms the foundation to future training endeavors. The training is easy to follow through with and helps form a great bond between dog and owner. She’s compassionate and caring about the dogs and they respond well to her. She works with you until she is sure the lessons are understood and working. I can say that Harry has responded extremely well to the training she has provided us. We have been able to avoid medications for his anxiety with simple behavior modifications. As new issues arise I contact Christina for some additional sessions. I value her training expertise and always pass along her business card to adopters of my foster dogs. I highly recommend Christina Gelardi for training you and your dog.

Can't recommend Christina enough! Our dog did her board and train and we asked her to work on his "heel" command while walking, his barking at other dogs going by the house, and his fear of nail trims. She sent frequent videos of his progress and several months later, he's still doing great! Christina is a pro and explains his behavior in a way that our whole family could understand. He has improved in all areas, and will even let me approach with the nail trimmer without running the other away. Very grateful to have found her!

We just finished a series of trainings this past month for our 9 month old lab mix rescue, Lucy. She was so high energy that we could not control her on a walk, was chewing, jumping, etc. We had previously taken her to a six week puppy training class at the MSPCA. She needed more!
We found Christina on Facebook and all the 5 star reviews don’t do her justice. We were desperate waiting for our first individual hour class. Within the first 20 minutes she gave us so much advice and the tools we needed to start Lucy on the right path. She guided us in correcting our behavior as well as Lucy’s. By the end of the hour we were able to walk Lucy around the No. Andover common with plenty of distractions and very little tugging etc. It was amazing. She progressed greatly with the next couple of lessons. WE can now walk her, she doesn’t walk us. Her behavior is much calmer, she listens, etc. Christina also suggested Doggie Day care to help dispel some of her energy. Best advice ever. Just one day a week and she is wiped out but loves it. Lucy still needs work but it no longer seems impossible! I would give Christina 10 stars if possible! So glad we found her!

I highly recommend Training by Christina to any dog owner! She is so intuitive about dogs’ needs and personalities and really caters every training session to the dog and owner. Ben and I have learned so much from her and our life with our new rescue dog has been greatly improved by working with Christina. She is knowledgeable, kind and an excellent teacher.
